Junebug: Powered By Volunteers
As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization Junebug relies heavily on volunteer support & tax deductible donations. Have you ever wondered how all that clothing makes it to the rack? Every day community members come to the store with clothing that is no longer useful to their family. Volunteers closely inspect each item to determine if it is free of stains & odors and in good condition. ‘Saleable’ items are then grouped by price, tagged, & hung. Volunteers makes this process possible & we are always looking for more help. As more people discover Junebug the demand for our services increases. More clothing comes in every day & we try to make it available for purchase as quickly as possible. Our current volunteer workforce struggles to keep pace. What does this mean for you? It means that it takes us longer to prepare new clothing for the racks so there is less available at any given time. How can you help?
